Introducing our Trustees
Leonora has worked in Senior Commercial roles for Royal Mail’s International, and UK Marketing teams. After leaving Royal Mail, Leonora got to know the charity sector through a series of consultancy projects, and latterly moved to a Senior Programme Manager role at Legal & General. Leonora started as a trustee with Abbeyfield Reigate started in 2013 with a remit to build a team of volunteers, she has been Chair of Trustees since 2016.

Denise has been associated with Abbeyfield for around ten years, first as a volunteer driver then becoming a Trustee in 2014. She is a retired assistant headteacher, having worked across both mainstream and special needs settings. Her areas of involvement at Abbeyfield include Admissions and Resident Wellbeing.

Theresa joined Abbeyfield Reigate as a Trustee in 2014 and she currently works for a local firm of commercial surveyors. Previous trusteeships have been with the GKN Pension Scheme and the Bunzl Pension Scheme. Theresa is involved with the finances of Abbeyfield Reigate as the charity’s treasurer.

Roger, Property Management
Roger is a highly experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor who oversees the fabric of Abbeyfield House. Roger has managed several large projects at Abbeyfield House, including the conversion of our garage into a modern bedroom suite and most recently, our wonderful new garden room. He joined Abbeyfield in 2013.
Nick, Health & Safety
Nick is a retired Chartered Accountant. He specialised in internal audit with KPMG before moving into Risk Management in financial services for 20 years, mostly with Legal & General covering areas such as product development, capital modelling, compliance and business continuity planning. He joined Abbeyfield 18 months ago as Compliance & Risk Trustee.
Andrew, Marketing
Andrew joined Abbeyfield Reigate as a Trustee in 2023, shortly after retiring from bp. Andrew's 36-year career at bp involved a number of roles related to strategy, business development and marketing
