Housekeeper / Cook Immediate Start

Abbeyfield Reigate provides sheltered accommodation for up to 11 residents. The Housekeeper/Cook role is very much like running a family house but on a slightly larger scale.

We are looking for someone who will become part of the Abbeyfield team to help run the house. This involves preparing a warm meal at lunchtimes for the residents, and a light tea early evening. A key part of the role is also chatting with the residents, and helping them with the challenges that come up in a way that supports and encourages their independence.

The ideal candidate will live in the local area, have a track record cooking meals that are appropriate for an older age group, and have some experience managing a team or running a house.

30 hours per week contract, with opportunities for additional hours providing holiday cover. 

Enhanced DBS check will be mandatory
